Festival Marina welcomes the Dubai Festival City Dragon Boat Festival for its fifth year
The popular Dubai Festival City Dragon Boat Festival, one of Dubai’s favourite events which is celebrating its fifth year, is set for an exciting return this April.
The event attracts thousands of competitors and spectators with teams lining up for an action-packed weekend. The festival will be held on April 6-7 and features entertainment for the whole family, on and off the water, including DJs, sports physiotherapy tent, kid’s corner and many other activities. Being a community festival it brings together corporate, university, school and community groups from across the UAE.

Innovative community boating event raises funds for the environment
Last month, thousands of spectators lined up in Festival Marina at the Dubai Creek as more than 30 local companies and schools participated in the third annual 'Whatever Floats Your Boat' competition - a unique environmental event for charity where teams race rafts they have made entirely out of recycled materials. The race was organised by the InterContinental Hotels Group and Dubai Festival City in association with Mourjan Marinas IGY.
